Tahar DJEDID has mastered the sand on canvas technique.
One day as the artist was painting in the desert he noticed that sand, blown by the wind, had attached itself to the canvas, hence :
Sand On Canvas technique
was born !


What an amazing, strange but wonderful result !

The artist has continually improved his skills, and after 25 years
he is still very passionate.

Combining natural colored sand coming from different Sahara desert areas in Algeria, his canvas reveals a never reached realism and an astonishing emotional life ....
